Which data formats can I use with the bundled CornerStone applications?
CornerStone supports the most usual image formats:
- png (Portable Network Graphics), with and without alpha channel, both 8-bit and 16-bit pngs
- jpeg (Joint Picture Expert Group)
- tga (TARGA file format)
The video decoding is done with FFMPEG video codec library that supports following formats:
- avi
- mov
- wmv
- m4v
- qt
- mkv
- mpeg
The actual supported formats depend on the FFMPEG release and compilation. There are sometimes issues with the videos, even if they are encoded into ano of the above containers.
