EEPROM Errors

When running the test applications, we get an error message: "FAILURE The hardware EEPROM is not programmed properly (ff448800aa7f1000 instead of ff448800aa7f10ff)". The system still seems to work ok. Is something wrong?

Something is wrong, but not terribly so. The message implies that the serial communication link between the MultiTouch hardware (Cell or IR emitter) is not entirely reliable. Removing any USB hubs is the first step to fixing the issue. Driver update may also help.

This may be caused by bad device drivers. Also, we have come up with computers where even the latest drivers do not help the situation.
